Question: How do I make HiWAAY's AnteSpam catch more or less spam?
Answer:
HiWAAY's AnteSpam allows you to control how much spam email the filters will catch. You do this by changing your email address's Junk Sideline Threshold. This is a number between 1 and 10. Level 1 will catch the most spam, but may also catch good email too. Level 10 will catch the least spam, but will rarely catch good email. Everyone's email is different and the level that works best for me, may not work as well for you. By adjusting the levels for your email address you can find the sweet spot that catches most of your spam.By default, your account's Junk Sideline Threshold is set to level 3. This will work for most people, but if you're still getting a lot of unfiltered spam, you might want to try level 2.
To change your Junk Sideline Threshold, log into AnteSpam using your full email address and email password.
After logging in, click the settings tab on the menu bar. In the Junk Sideline Threshold box enter a number from 1 to 10 dpeneding on how much spam you want to catch and click the Save Settings button.
