HiWAAY Internet Services has expanded its offerings by adding a new division, HiWAAY Network Services, which specializes in network design, business process analysis, information security and managed IT services. This new division will allow HiWAAY to provide end-to-end solutions for area businesses.
HiWAAY Network Services will install and implement network services in environments ranging from small offices to multi-national corporations. "We are very excited to launch this new division and see a great need for this type of service in our markets," said John Hasty, Network Services manager. "Not only can we offer customers Internet access and business solutions, but we now have the means to provide a broad range of network services that will help their businesses grow."
Members recruited from HiWAAY's infrastructure team operate the new division and are supported by dozens of capable professionals in the Huntsville and Birmingham offices. Team members are vendor-certified and have extensive experience and expertise in network infrastructure, VPNs, email and Internet technologies, Microsoft products, Web applications and network security.
HiWAAY Network Services will complement the HiWAAY Computer Clinic, which opened in November 2004. The Clinic specializes in the removal and prevention of viruses, worms and spyware from computers. Clinic technicians disinfect the computers and install software to help prevent future attacks. The Computer Clinic has recently begun offering pick-up and delivery in the Huntsville area.
HiWAAY Internet Services is a full-service ISP providing individual and business dial-up, dedicated Internet access, Web server solutions, virus and spyware removal, and now, a wide range of network services.
